As the VYRE Film Festival approaches, we are excited to let all of our viewers and participants know that we are switching to a virtual format in order to make it easier for individuals from all over to be a part of the excitement. Nominees and finalists for each category will be announced in the official VFF Award Trailer. This video will be posted to all of our social media handles as well as a premiere trailer spotlighting the winners of each category, on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

“This year we have received over 250 submissions, which was an exponential growth record for the festival. There were ten categories for submission, each containing three to four different finalists. The Film Festival categories and finalists are as follows:

Best Feature Films – River of Ghosts, The Family’s Feud, Amazon Queen, and Do Over.

Best Short Films – We had Chemistry, The Night Out, Cheks + Balances,and Reclaim Wilderness.

Documentary Features – Wade in The Water, They Are Heroes, and Bob Lanois: Snake Road.

Short Documentaries – Kick and Tell, Malpelo, and Ukraine War: Eyes of The Refugees.

International Feature Films – Antique Clock, In The Moment, Life in The Blood and Redux.

International Short Films – Circle of Love, The Story of the Real Life Crash, and Touched.

International Episodic Series – A Question of Service, Smoke and Mirrors, and Lizzy’s Plan: 3 Peas in a podcast.

Social Awareness – Apples, Oranges, Lemons and Limes, and Not Enough Human, and Love Letters I can Never Send.

LGBTQ – Mi Vida, Onyx, and Re.

Spanish Shorts – Madonna, and Remi.

Best Episodic Series – Womanhood: The Series, Spy V Spia, Abstraction and Camisado.

Winners of the VFF3 Film Festival will receive an exclusive “one on one” interview with the President of VYRE Network, David Hill and COO, Lamar Seay, to discuss the opportunity of having your film distributed on the VYRE Platform/App. The Vyre.tv App is available for download for free on Samsung Smart TV’s, Roku TV, Apple TV, Android, Amazon Fire, and the web. This unique opportunity for a VFF participant, will provide comprehensive exposure for an individual’s film. For example, previous festival winners have received upwards of 500,000 to over 1 million streams.

VYRE Network is looking forward to a successful film festival and is already in the planning process for 2023. An exciting addition to next year’s festival will be panel sessions with various guest speakers on subjects such as Directing, Producing, Writing and Financing. These panel sessions will not only be informative, but also help to elevate your professional career in the Film Industry. This panel session information is posted on the VYRE Network website.
